Right Ear
A product using sharing economy to broaden access to bone conduction hearing aid technology.
2023 product system design

In contemporary society, hearing health is a severe and commonly overlooked issue. Many people pay little attention to their hearing condition in daily life, often seeking help only when there is a noticeable decline in hearing or problems arise. This delayed awareness and intervention can exacerbate the issues, significantly impacting personal quality of life. Hearing impairment not only restricts communication abilities but may also lead to social isolation, emotional issues.

The product, designed with the golden ratio (screen-to-body height ratio of about 0.618:1), offers a naturally harmonious aesthetic. It enhances both visual appeal and user interface intuitiveness, balancing product’s functionality with classic beauty.

The design abstracts an ear's shape into a geometric element, pieced together to form a top view. The rightmost of four identical shapes represents the main body, differentiated by outlines and color, generating the logo and enhancing the visual recognition.

Hearing Test Headphone & Bone Conduction Hearing Aid

This product uses bone conduction technology, combined with a sharing economy model, to allow more people access to this technology. Implementing this model could provide a reference for the popularization of other high-end medical devices. For example, bone conduction hearing aids on the market are effective but expensive, making them inaccessible to many in need. The sharing model addresses this issue by reducing usage costs while ensuring product quality and user experience. The pursuit of improved quality of life and increased societal inclusiveness provide a broader market prospect for products adopting this model.
